10% time is our take on the more standard 20% time, an opportunity to work on projects you think will most benefit Circuit, even if they're not on the short-term roadmap or that management think are unlikely to move the needle.

Every other Friday is a 10% day (one in every ten working days). On these Fridays, feel free to contribute to one of the many ongoing projects already in the works or to start on something new (and then recruit others to help).

Working on a 10% time project is entirely optional. We encourage you to do so if you feel strongly about a particular idea, but otherwise, more standard work is totally appropriate for these days, too.

10% projects that show promise/validate a theory may be upgraded to standard projects, added to the roadmap, and given more resources.
