This stipend is for buying equipment that complements your work setup. It's for making sure you have everything you need to work from home.

Even though it is called a “home office” stipend, you can also use it to rent a coworking space if you wish.

We do not provide new team members with office equipment when they join the company. Instead we give you an annual stipend and the freedom to purchase what you need.

How does it work?

• You can use up to £500 per calendar year for any equipment that is related to your remote work setup.
• This stipend cannot be combined across different calendar years and renews on 1st Jan each year.
• You can start using this stipend as soon as you’ve joined the team.

👍  Here are some examples of what is covered by the home office stipend:

• Laptop accessories: headphones/headset, microphone, webcam, speaker, mouse, keyboard, monitor, connection cables, adapters, docking station, laptop stand/case.
• Furniture: Office chair, desk, storage unit lamps, light therapy lamps.
• (De)Humidifiers, air purifiers, fans, portable heaters
• Mobile Internet routers (hotspots)
• Co-working space access.
• E-ink tablets (examples: Supernote or Remarkable).

👎  Examples of what is not covered by the home office stipend:

• Desktop computers. As we're an entirely online company with yearly meet-ups, we need you to have a laptop for travel and remote work.
• Mobile phones (read about the exception below*)
