What is "Mental Health Monday" (MHM)?

On the first Monday of every month, our Ops team shares something around mental health in a dedicated Twist thread. It could be anything from practical wellbeing tips to thought-provoking articles, inspiring books, memorable films, or even TV shows that spark conversation.

While we call it Mental Health Monday, these chats can — and do — happen any day of the week.

Why we do it

We believe the best way to support mental health is to talk about it openly. We want it to feel as natural as telling someone you’ve got a dentist appointment.

We’re not health professionals, and we don’t pretend to be — but we do have a responsibility to look after each other. That means making sure everyone feels safe to speak up if they’re struggling, and knowing they’ll be met with understanding, not judgment.

Mental Health Monday is just one small way we encourage those conversations. It’s a space to share, connect, and learn from each other — because we all do better when we look out for one another.
